A1 Habitat for nationally or internationally rare or threatened species or communities. Ranunculus ternatifolius (At Risk – Nationally Uncommon). 90

Other Information:

  • Listed as an Area of Significant Indigenous Vegetation, Habitats of Indigenous Fauna and Wetlands in the Central Otago District Plan. 55

  • Presence of red tussock (Chionochloa rubra subsp. cuprea). The tussock is occupying sites where subterranean water merges on to the toe-slope of a terrace batter. 90

  • A small range of wetland herbs are present in the tussock understorey including the ‘At Risk’ buttercup Ranunculus ternatifolius. 90
